February 18th is one of our favorite Foodie Holidays. The day is recognized as National Drink Wine Day and we say ‘Cheers’ to this day on the calendar. Did you know the purpose of this holiday is to spread the love and health benefits of drinking wine. It embraces the positive benefits of wine such as new friends, reduced risk of heart disease and the enhancement of food and life. Drinking wine is a great social experience but many wines also provide wonderful health benefits. The two can be a wonderful pairing. Plus it is fun to try new ones and enhance your pallets and experience with wine.
Are you a sweet wine or a dry wine drinker? Or does the type of wine you enjoy, depend on the situation or meal?
There are so many varieties as well as brands of wines to select from and so many delicious wines on the market to experience. Do you purchase your wine based upon the design of the label, the grape type or do you prefer to buy from a particular region? The vast array of options are one of the things we love about wine. Wine is something that can be enjoyed when you are relaxing on your back patio in summer after a long day, paired with a delicious meal, a romantic evening with your significant other, or over laughs and tears with your besties.
Our Founder, Lisa Mitchell, encourages all of us to select our wine based upon what we like to drink by trusting our taste buds. Don’t get caught up in whether it is the right wine for the right occasion. There is a time and a place for the perfect pairing, but the best way to enjoy your glass of wine is to drink what taste good to you.
“My favorite way to drink wine is sitting by the pool laughing and spending #gracetime with friends and family. ” Lisa Mitchell, Founder of American Serenade. What is your favorite way? We love to hear from our consultants and customers about their #gracetime experiences. Send us an email: email@example.com or tag us #americanserenade and #gracetime on your social media sites.
We hope that you, however, are celebrating National Wine Drinking Day with friends and family and enjoying #gracetime.
